Amana Arts Guild and Gallery on Main The Amana Arts Guild is a nonprofit offering a wide array of art-based programs and activities.

The Amana Arts Guild encourages the preservation of local cultural heritage and traditional art forms. In addition the Guild offers the public a variety of seasonal events including our annual Festival of the Arts, a summer children's day camp, a Communal Meal Celebration, and a Haus Walk. Each year the Guild presents a "Friends of the Arts Award" to individuals who have made important contributions towards growth of artistic life in Amana.

We're thrilled to introduce a significantly enhanced opportunity for artists at the Gallery on Main. We want to move beyond consignment and help artists seize control of their own sales! For just $50 per month, artists can secure their own dedicated space, set their own prices, and keep 100% of their earnings. This new rental model will directly support our non-profit mission by stabilizing our monthly operating costs, ensuring we can continue to showcase local talent.

The Arts Guild is sponsoring a mural design contest during the month of February. The mural should be planned to go on the long wall at the Visitor Center restroom building. The dimensions for the artwork are approximately 12 ft by 8 ft. The winning mural design will be chosen by a panel of 3 judges and the winning artist will be announced the first week of March. The design will then be painted by volunteers during the month of March. All design ideas will be considered and we encourage everyone to submit their ideas by email to [email protected] or snail mail to Amana Arts Guild PO Box 114, Amana, IA 52203
