Lehigh Valley Community Foundation

Keep an eye out for exciting exhibit upgrades exploring our diverse, multicultural community. Sponsored by a Community Partnership grant from the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation (www.lvcfoundation.org).

We promote philanthropy in order to improve the quality of life in our region. The Community Foundation encourages collaboration among area philanthropists, and is a source of information and expertise regarding charity giving.

Don't forget to join us today as we travel back to the 1800s to meet the Steckel family in the midst of their Christmas preparations! There will be holiday games, carols, baking, stories and tree decorating. The Belsnickel (St. Nickolas in furs) will give treats. Held at the Historic Troxell-Steckel Farm Museum.
FREE to members, non-members $8 adults, $3 children.
The first tour begins at 11:30AM.
Tours last about one hour.
Last tour starts at 4:15PM.

Have any plans for next weekend? Well if not, we have a double dose of fun for you! On Saturday, December 5th, you can travel back to the 1800s to meet the Steckel family at the Historic Troxell-Steckel House (see the A Pennsylvania Dutch Christmas event for more details). Then on Sunday, December 6th, there will be a showing of It's a Wonderful Life at 1:00PM followed by a talk by Donna Reed's daughter Mary Owen (see the It's a Wonderful Life event for more details).
