200g crab meat, lump or shredded
200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, finely diced

Funeral Services for Captain Hughes. Visitation, Wednesday, at 10 am at First Freewill Baptist Church, 2001 Parkway Drive. Funeral to follow at 11am. Burial with Military Honors will be Thursday at 10 am at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

Board Members, I am asking for prayers for one of our own, Andy Broom. Andy has volunteered to travel to Israel to work side by side with the firefighters there. I am asking that we pray for his safety and all of those in the conflict over there.

Old # 2 (Weiner Arkansas) made it to the Arkansas Fierfighter Museum last night around 7. Our friend Jerald Burns hauled the truck for us. The 1965 Ford Howe cost Weiner Arkansas $$6,443.00 dollars and was delivered 90 to 110 days after purchase contract signed. The city supplied the Ford chassis which was common for small towns back then. Our thanks to Chief David Schwarz and the city of Weiner for allowing our museum to share their history.

Special thanks to all who visited our booth at he annual Rural Fire Show in Conway yesterday. A big pat on the back to the Forestry Commission Rural Fire Division on putting this together. Major thanks to our board members, Warren Kuhn, Andy Moore and Bunny Franklin for greeting our visitors and explaining our displays. Bill Byrd for the donation of his fathers helmet and turnout coat. Bonnerdale VFD for the donations of the air pacs and face pieces.

We did not keep track of the hours worked to bring the temporary museum to life, had to be over 100 hours over the last two weeks. The museum will be open tomorrow 10-4, N. Sardis and Kling rd. Pleasecome out and check out all the hard work.

Bunny and Bob went back up to Jonesboro Academy and came back with a truck load of old training materials. Manuals, Video tapes, Tranparancy slides and 35mm films. Old school training stuff.
