A wonderful time falling in with NCB 4 at Mid Atlantic Air Museum's WWII weekend this past weekend in Reading PA.

This past Monday I had the pleasure of visiting Big Mamie, the USS Massachusetts. She was launched in September of 1941 and commissioned on May 12th, 1942. The 3rd of 4 South Dakota class battleships.

A small tribute to the Marine aviators during WWII. Pictured here is Vought Corsairs belonging to VMF-111. "Ole 122" of VMF-111 was credited with over 178 combat missions over the Marshall Islands and tallying up over 80,000 miles without a single major overhaul.
