FYI, the train will still be doing short runs this weekend. In inspecting the track after all the water has gone down, they found some ties completely washed out and some fell into a hole. Anyone want to help with track repair?

05/24/2019

The 3415 steam locomotive will be running this weekend, however because of flooding over the Smoky Hill River bridge and the track we will only go out part way. Tickets will reduce to half, or you may reschedule for another time. To reschedule or cancel you must call the ASVRR office.
785-263-1077 Thank you for understanding since it is beyond our control.

05/22/2019

As of now the plan for this weekend is to run the steam engine and go out as far as we can and then push back. We will not be crossing the Smoky Hill River bridge but hopefully we can get to it so you can see all the high water.

05/21/2019

FYI if you are planning on coming to ride the train this weekend, I would suggest calling before your come. At this point we are not sure if the track will be under water in places. Probably will not be able to cross the Smoky Hill River bridge.
