تم إنشاء هذه الصفحة لعدة أهداف: التعريف بالنشاطات الأثرية التي تقوم بها دائرة آثار دمشق، وتشجيع طلاب الآثار والهواة المشاركة بهذه النشاطات وتقديم العون والمساعدة في حماية تراثنا ونشر التوعية بين جيل الشباب وإدراك أهمية هذا التراث كونه يمثل هويتنا وتاريخنا، كذلك نشر أخبار كافة المكتشفات الأثرية التي تتم في مدينة دمشق والتعريف بها لجعل المواطن السوري يواكب كل جديد يتعلق بأسرار أقدم عاصمة مأهولة في التاريخ This page has been created for several objectives: Definition activities archaeological carried out by the Department of Antiquities Damascus, and encourage students effects and amateur participation to these activities and provide aid and assistance in the protection of our heritage and raise awareness among the young generation and realize the importance of this heritage it represents our identity, our history, as well as publishing all archaeological discoveries made in the city of Damascus and publicize it to make the Syrian citizen cope every new relation of secrets, the oldest city in history
