Our first sewing assignment! Thanks to CDAC for putting their trust in us and we couldn’t have done it without the help of 2 experienced sewists.

Watching the newbies sew today made me realise that sewing is a journey, not a destination. Many were happy just pressing their foot on the pedal, watching the stitiches appear and moving the fabric around in a freeform manner. Their coasters may not look perfect but they definitely enjoyed the sewing process. 🧵

It takes a lot of wind for the Singapore flag to fly this high and straight. It takes a lot of strength for Singapore to get from a third world country to where it is today. Let’s treasure what we have and not take anything for granted. Majulah Singapura! 🇸🇬
