Recently a pair of good friends spent two lovely mornings with us, learning to sashiko and sharing ideas of how they can utilise their newly acquired skill!

We have another run of this workshop coming up in June, so be sure to check it out if you are keen.

REPOST • May 2026 - finished up a fun 2-session Sashiko workshop with 2 friends picking up a new craft together.
*
Honestly so fun watching them stitch, char, laugh and brainstorm what their finished pieces could become - pouch?bag?coaster? “Eh actually can make this into something useful!”
*
Thanks for having me and for all the lovely conversations over the 2 sessions!
*
If you’re curious to try Sashiko too, hop over to for the latest workshop dates!

As part of the Singapore Heritage Festival, well be at the Asian Civilisations Museum with a hands-on weaving activity designed to complement 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙨 exhibition, a multi-sensory tea exhibition.

Join us for a tactile pause — slow down, weave a small rug coaster by hand, and spend a moment with texture, rhythm, and touch.

At the same evening, we will also be demonstrating the weaving of a tea towel on a table loom so do drop by if you wish to see a loom in action and perhaps even contribute a few rows of weaving!.

We just received a top-up of chunky yarns from for our revised Weave-A-Scarf workshop!

The new workshop format enables participants to weave their own handwoven scarf in a single session, using a rigid heddle loom which we have prepared ahead of time.

If you are keen to try weaving on a handloom and would love to take home a squishy scarf for your efforts, do check out our website for details!

It’s been 3 months since we transited into an appointment-based system. Since then, folks who have signed up for workshops or consultations have given rather positive feedback on how the new system provides greater scheduling flexibility and this almost 1-1 arrangement gives them the most personalised attention.

In addition to that, the appointment-based system has also given us more time to be creative and to experiment on ideas and projects. Just look at what are some of the items that came off looms in the last 3 months!

Our pre-order run for Maurice Brassard yarns is now open, from now till 10 April.

Pre-orders will enjoy a 10% discount on yarn prices so this a good time to plan ahead for your next projects.

There are a few ways to place your order:

1. Send us your shopping list via email, WhatsApp, or DM
2. Browse what’s currently listed on our website, add to cart, and check out there
(no payment needed on the website — we’ll generate the invoice on our backend and send it to you).
3. WhatsApp us to set up a studio visit if you’d like to view colour cards and place your order in person

If you’ve been thinking about restocking or starting something new, this is a good window to do so. Let us know if you need any help putting your list together.

You have learnt how to weave and now it’s time to take it further.

Build your skills, develop a steady weaving rhythm, and be part of a community that shows up, experiments, and grows together.

The pieces you see here were created by our study group participants — a glimpse of what can unfold when you keep going, stay curious, and learn alongside others.

If you’re ready for that next step, sign up now via the links below. Our 2026 study groups begin end March so don’t wait any longer!

Weaving study groups are now open for sign-ups (sessions start end March).

Find your people, go deeper in your practice, and explore ideas in a space built for shared learning and steady growth.

These groups are for those who want more than a one-off workshop — a place to experiment, ask questions, encourage one another, and build skills over time. If you’re ready to commit to the process and grow alongside others, we’d love to have you join us.

Our new website is live, and with it comes a few updates to how the studio works.

All studio visits are now by appointment, whether you’re popping by for retail, independent weaving time, or just to come in and have a chat with us. This helps us better support each visit and keep the space running smoothly.

We’ve also introduced a new way to book workshops. Instead of working around fixed schedules, you can now choose the workshop you’re interested in and book the earliest mutually available slot with the instructor running it.

Appointments and bookings currently open 2–8 weeks ahead to keep everyone’s schedules manageable. If you need something outside the available dates, feel free to reach out and we’ll see what’s possible.

Our current inventory is online, and to make up for recent downtime, we’re running a Buy-One-Get-One-Free sale on in-stock items until 15 March. We’re also gradually rolling out an order-as-needed system for items like looms and spinning wheels. It may take us a bit of time to have majority of the items listed, so thank you for your patience.

And as always, if anything feels confusing or glitchy, just let us know. We’re happy to help.

Thanks for growing with us as the studio continues to evolve into a space focused on learning, depth, and thoughtful making.

From 1 Feb 2026, studio visits will move to an appointment-based system as we ease into a new rhythm for the space.

Appointments will include things like:
– retail visits and getting to know the studio
– independent weaving sessions
– consultations and project planning
– learning sessions and workshops

This change helps us be more present and better able to support each visit whether you’re dropping by to browse, learn something new, plan a project, or spend some focused time weaving with us.

As part of this transition, product ordering is paused for now while we refresh the website and bring everything in line with this new way of working. We’ll share updates once appointment booking goes live and the next phase of the site is ready.

Thanks for your patience and for growing with us as we continue shaping the studio into a space for thoughtful making and learning.

When visiting our new space, you’ll first notice that our retail section is now more curated and limited. This is intentional.

What we value most is the ability to offer time, space, and presence. This means the chance to sit with one of us, talk through ideas, and work through projects in a supported, unhurried way.

We understand that some visitors may arrive hoping to shop and may feel a little disappointed. Singapore has many wonderful yarn shops and you can refer to the link at the end of this post for a directory that we maintain. However, there are far fewer spaces dedicated to fibre-arts learning and exploration - this is where we do our best work and what we are choosing to focus on in this season.
