A special World Museum Day Walk was organized at Taxila Museum to celebrate the importance of cultural heritage and historical preservation. The event was organized by Deputy Director SRO Taxila Mr. Muhammad Aasim Dogar along with Assistant Commissioner Taxila Ms. Maria Javed, Curator Taxila Museum Mr. Zubair Akhtar, and Assistant Curator Taxila Mr. Nouman Akhtar.
A large number of students, teachers, and school representatives participated in the walk with great enthusiasm. During the event, Deputy Director SRO Taxila Mr. Muhammad Aasim Dogar briefed the students and members of different schools about the importance of museums and heritage in preserving the rich history and culture for future generations.
The participants appreciated the efforts of the management for promoting awareness regarding the significance of Taxila’s historical heritage and the Gandhara civilization. The walk concluded with a renewed commitment to protect and promote the cultural identity and historical treasures of Pakistan.
