Pakistan Through My Heart | Independence Day Exhibition
On 13 August, Lahore Museum hosted the exhibition Pakistan β Through My Heart to commemorate the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan, bringing together rare and historic objects that reflect the journey, struggle, and spirit behind the creation of Pakistan.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Additional Chief Secretary and Vice Chairman, Board of Governors, Lahore Museum, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.
Drawing from the Lahore Museum Collection, the exhibition features rare photographs, oil paintings, sculptures, coins and medals, letters, and Pakistan Postage Stamps, alongside rare photographs and a documentary from the archives of Mr. Dabeer Razvi. Together, these materials offer a glimpse into the Pakistan Movement and the contributions of leaders, intellectuals, artists, women, students, and countless citizens whose efforts shaped the nation's history.
Through these treasured records of the past, Pakistan β Through My Heart celebrates the resilience, unity, and collective struggle that led to the birth of Pakistan in 1947, while inviting visitors to reconnect with the stories that form the foundation of our national identity.
