Syed Noroz Ali's landscape paintings are shaped by memory, identity, and myth. They imagine gardens where memory meets belief; where lilies remain untouched, fruit ripens without a season, beauty becomes the language of desire and is emphasized above all else, and the horizon is stained with a red that refuses to fade. Within these landscapes, a solitary figure moves quietly between promise and silence, carrying neither certainty nor escape.
These paintings inhabit the space where myth becomes memory and beauty acquires the weight of belief and violence. They dwell on the fragile threshold where desire, devotion, and longing become indistinguishable, inviting the viewer to question not only what is seen, but also what has been taught to appear sacred.
The exhibition continues till September 29, 2026 - 11 am to 8 pm, every day. The gallery remains closed on Fridays and national holidays only.
