The 323rd Naval Squadron Reserve (NSR) actively participated in the 1st Flag Ceremony of Barangay Bubog for this month of February, held in Barangay Bubog, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, as part of its continuing commitment to community engagement, civic responsibility, and support to local government initiatives.
The activity aimed to promote patriotism, unity, and discipline among barangay officials, residents, and partner agencies. The presence of the 323rd NSR underscored the role of Naval Reservists as force multipliers and partners of the Local Government Units (LGUs) in fostering peace, order, and good governance at the grassroots level.
During the ceremony, members of the 323rd NSR joined barangay officials and constituents in the flag-raising ceremony, symbolizing respect for the national flag and adherence to civic values. The participation also served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and rapport between the Naval Reserve unit and the barangay leadership, reinforcing mutual support in future community-based programs, disaster preparedness activities, and security initiatives.
