THE HOUSE Legislative Museum proudly celebrates the successful conduct of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Seminar-Workshop, facilitated by the Department of Tourism–National Capital Region (DOT-NCR) for selected employees of the House of Representatives of the Philippines.

The seminar strengthened the participants’ commitment to delivering service rooted in the Filipino values of warmth, respect, hospitality, professionalism, and malasakit—qualities that define the Filipino brand of excellence.
For THE HOUSE Legislative Museum, service excellence is essential in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and meaningful experience for every visitor who enters the halls of the House.

Our sincere gratitude to DOT-NCR and our resource persons for helping equip our personnel to provide service that is not only excellent, but proudly and distinctly Filipino.

Mahusay na serbisyo. Pusong Filipino. Para sa Bayan.

This Teachers’ Day, THE HOUSE Legislative Museum honors our educators whose lessons extend far beyond the classroom. They nurture curiosity, preserve knowledge, inspire critical thinking, and help young Filipinos understand their history, rights, and responsibilities as citizens.

Like museums, teachers are keepers and storytellers of our shared heritage—connecting the lessons of the past with the possibilities of the future.

At THE HOUSE Legislative Museum, we proudly share this mission by providing a space where students and educators can discover the history of Philippine legislation, experience the democratic process, and appreciate the institutions that continue to shape our nation.

To all our teachers, maraming salamat for teaching, inspiring, and helping build the next generation of Filipino leaders.

Happy Teachers’ Day!

This October, we run toward what connects us.

“Bridging Divides: Preserving the Present for Tomorrow” is this year’s call to reimagine museums and galleries not only as keepers of the past, but as spaces that bring together generations, communities, and cultures—one story, one artifact, one shared memory at a time.

From the golden sun of our flag to the woven patterns, pottery, and portraits that speak of our heritage, this year’s poster reminds us: the present we live in today becomes the heritage we preserve for tomorrow.

Join the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, in partnership with The House: The Legislative Museum of the House of Representatives, and museums and galleries nationwide as we celebrate this October! Share our official Museums and Galleries Month poster!

Save the date. Visit a museum. Bridge a divide.
