Carlos Corrales Quisumbing: to honor the legacy of his grandparents, Honorable Carlos Corrales y Garcia, Señora Filomena Zamora y Quisumbing de Corrales, and family. We hope this meets the standards of Lola Charing, the last of her Zamora Corrales siblings and who occupied this bedroom in Casa Corrales. The rattan “panels” were woven in Bohol and picked by Carol Fatima Quisumbing. Weaving rattan seems to be a lost art in the island (please correct us if we are wrong). A very good nylon weaver lives in another town and we have utilized his skills for other pieces of furniture.
