🎉 Day 1 of Intramurals at Ubay National Science High School was a success! 🏆

The History Club and Filipino Club joined forces to bring our Hug & Shoot Booth to life, and we’re grateful for everyone who stopped by and made the experience fun, memorable, and worthwhile. 🤗📸

Everything went smoothly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to this year’s intramurals. Thank you for your support and enthusiasm!

🎮 Mechanics:
• The requested pair will play 3 rounds: Easy, Medium, and Hard.
• Every successful shot = 1 prize! Complete all 3 rounds and win 3 prizes. 🎁
• If the pair fails to make the shot in a round, they must take a photo together as their consequence. 📸

👥 How to Play:
• One player will stand in front as the guide.
• The other player will stand behind, wear a blindfold, and wrap both hands around their partner's waist.
• The player at the back will shoot the basketball without seeing the ring, while the player in front can only guide them using their voice. 🗣️🏀

Yesterday, June 11, 2026, students gathered for the first club meeting of the school year, united by their curiosity, passion, and appreciation for the stories that shaped our world. From learning about the past to understanding its impact on the present, the History Club is a place where every story matters.

June 𝕝𝟚— a day that carries the echoes of 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, and the 𝗨𝗻𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 of our ancestors.

Our 𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓹𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 is a story written by those who 𝓯𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱𝓽 and 𝓫𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓭 in a future they might never see. It is a reminder of the struggles faced, the battles fought, and the hopes that shaped the Philippines we know today.

As we celebrate the 𝟏𝟐𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, may we not only remember our 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔 but also continue to value the 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒐𝒎 they fought for. Let us keep our 𝑯𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 alive, for the voices of our history continue to inspire the 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘.

Our heroes were not born extraordinary. They were ordinary people who chose to do extraordinary things for love of country. From those who fought on battlefields to those who used their voices, pens, and principles—each one played a part in building the Philippines we call home.

August 21 isn’t just another holiday. It’s a day we remember 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼 “𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆” 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗿. — a man who chose courage over comfort, sacrifice over safety, and love for country over personal gain.

His famous words, “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘥𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳,” are more than just a quote — they are a challenge to each of us to live in a way that honors his sacrifice. He showed us that one person’s bravery can spark a movement and change the course of a nation.

As we enjoy this day of rest, let’s not forget the reason behind it. May we carry Ninoy’s legacy not only in memory but in the way we act — by standing for truth, defending freedom, and loving our country in our own little ways. 🕊️
