Through the love and support of instructors, team leaders, practitioners, students, and friends from around the world, funds were successfully raised and transferred to the PTK GTS Legacy HQ, under the administration of PTK Legacy Director Roy Lopez.

HEALTH AND SAFETY INCIDENT UPDATE

Regarding Grand Tuhon Supremo Leo T. Gaje Jr.

Today, May 12, 2026, at around 11:00 AM, an incident occurred at the secured residence where Grand Tuhon Supremo Leo T. Gaje Jr. is presently being cared for.

Two identified persons came to the premises and attempted to gain access to the residence. The doorbell was repeatedly rung, and the situation caused alarm and disturbance to the caregivers and personnel responsible for his care and protection.

This matter has already been formally reported and documented with the proper authorities.

Grand Tuhon Supremo is presently in a very fragile and critical medical condition. He is confined in bed, under NGT feeding, and must not be exposed to any form of stress, agitation, confrontation, or disturbance.

His stomach aneurysm is already at 2.9 centimeters, with 3 centimeters being the critical point. This means that every effort must be made to protect him from any situation that may place his health, safety, and life at risk.

He is also in a dementia state and is not medically, psychologically, or emotionally capable of properly deciding for himself. For his own protection, he needs to be guarded, supervised, and cared for by his caregivers and legal guardians.

At this stage, what Grand Tuhon Supremo needs is peace, protection, stability, and dignity.

We are calling on concerned family members, PTK members, students, friends, and supporters to stand with us in protecting the health, safety, and well-being of Grand Tuhon Supremo.

This is not about conflict.
This is about protection.
This is about care.
This is about preserving the dignity, peace, and life of a living legend who has given so much to all of us.

Grand Tuhon Supremo must be protected, respected, guarded, and cared for with dignity.

As we celebrate Grand Tuhon Supremo’s 88th birthday today, I must say: there is a reason why he is still here.

He has survived. He has endured. He has prevailed against the attacks of death itself.

And truly — what is Death’s sickle against Grand Tuhon Supremo’s Ginunting?

He is still here for a reason and for a purpose: to remain a living flame of wisdom, courage, and Filipino warrior spirit. His presence calls us to unite, to honor the source, and to carry the legacy of Pekiti-Tirsia Kali forward for generations to come.

His movement carries depth, his ex*****on carries truth, and his mastery in knife combat reveals the living essence of Bacolod blade culture. What he demonstrates is not imitation, but inheritance—refined through real training, real skill, and real understanding. By virtue of his movement, mastery, and command of the blade, he rightfully deserves the highest rank of Grand Tuhon, together with Grand Tuhon Rommel Tortal and Grand Tuhon Jared Wihongi.
