The Negros Museum holds the 2023 Voice Workshop 101 for Kids and Teens' Recital Output under the mentorship of National ALIW Awardee for Best Classical Artist and Chairman of NAMCYA Voice Competitions, Nenen Espina.

The recital output featured songs of world renowned musical theatre and classical pieces and was performed with live piano in collaboration with one of the most sought after pianist in the country, Mary Anne Espina

Junior Tour Guiding for Kids will teach your kids the basics of tour guiding including ethics and protocols of the job, communication skills, the history of Negros and the sugar industry, and local culture and art. These are topics germane to the exhibits found in the Negros Museum. The 5-day course is meant to help participants build up their self-confidence, and appreciate their heritage as Negrosanons.

Meet our workshop instructor for Art Boot Camp for Kids and Teens– MS. PIE SATURNINO

Pie Saturnino works both as an Interior Designer and a multimedia artist. She holds a degree in Interior Design from La Consolacion College, a degree in Bachelor of Laws from the University of Negros Occidental, and a degree in Art Management from the Asian Institute of Management. She is known as the "first Negrense woman abstract artist" as quoted by Bobby Manosa in 2005's Exposition Deux Mille Zinc Show. She is known for mixed-media paintings and is the first Bacolod Woman artist to be included in the book which features the work of top Philippine Artists like MALANG and AMORSOLO. She is also first to introduce coffee painting in Bacolod City – 2010.

Nenen Espina to most, holds a Bachelor of Music, Major in Voice, from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila. A full scholar of the Conching Rosal Music Foundation, she is a familiar face on concert stage and musical theater productions in the country. Known not only for her powerful voice but for her acting prowess, as well, Nenen joined musical productions with Tanghalang Pilipino, the resident theatre company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines. She has recently been conferred as the ALIW awardee for Best Classical Artist and currently, she is the Vice Head of NCCA Committee on Music and the Chairman of NAMCYA Voice Competitions
