Introducing Janice Hirst.
Janice was born in New Zealand but has been living in New York for the past 20 years, where she has had the opportunity to experience life in the big Apple, both pre and post 911.
The Towers were a part of every New Yorkers life, either as a landmark, an office venue, a meeting point or shopping and entertainment, a true icon of the city. 911 hit the world hard and Janice, a keen photographer, wanted to find a way to portray the cities resurgence from tragedy; from the structures of the Towers, through the time of space and healing, to the construction of the Freedom tower.
Now back in New Zealand due COVID Janice wanted to share these trilogies as an example of resilience, and the healing of time.
I invite you to come down and see some of these historical image of a point in time. Never to be recaptured.

Introducing Niki. She has always been artistic and this is highlighted in her many paintings she has created over the past two decades.
She has attained her honours diploma from the Wellington School of Arts, which for her mentally is her licence to share her love of art. This came about due to Niki realising in the early 2000’s that she showed excellent potential to far exceed her artistic flare.
As an artist Niki says it is a pleasure to re-create her perception of the world and share it with others, helping them to look at everything as though seeing it for the first time.
Many of her visual perceptions have been exhibited previously in which some of these have found new homes.
Geographically within NZ Niki has sold her artwork from Whangarei down to Wellington and the provinces in between.
Internationally, some of her artworks now reside in Australia and the USA.
Working solely with oils and in a traditional style that favours realism coated with a touch of animation is very much indeed indicative of the quality that Niki produces.
Commissions are available.

Introducing LORRAINE DEBRECENY

She is a self-taught artist who started painting after her husbands’ death.
She lives on the Kapiti Coast most of my adult life.
Lorraine mainly work in acrylics in a pouring technique by adding different additives to produce a variety of affects.
Lorraine was chosen to exhibit because of her unique style of collaborating colours. I believe her works are very expensive and emotive when you take the time to watch how the colours move on the canvas.
