BMW has long made machines that embody its “Ultimate Driving Machine” motto and this enticing drive certainly has the ability to Bring It On. Nothing drives quite like a BMW and, given the Z4’s inherent sportiness, it’s especially true of this car...especially being an M Spec.

Alfa Romeo is renowned for pioneering the highest performance cars embodied in the most beautiful bodies and the Alfetta was no different, injected with Formula 1 technology. Torsion bar front suspension, de Dion rear suspension, twin plate clutch, rear mounted gear box, inboard rear brakes, and the Busso designed 2.5L V6 engine. We think no other car in the segment rivaled this much innovation.

These C4 Corvettes are finally starting to appreciate in value, and it’s about time. For years they flew under the radar, but with the surge in ‘80s and ‘90s nostalgia, people are waking up to just how good, and how much fun, they really are. Great to see them getting the credit they’ve always deserved. Easily one of the best-value V8s out there.

Like many classic cars, values may not skyrocket immediately, but they have a steady upward trajectory over time, particularly for well-preserved examples with low mileage

The Jaguar S-Type 'R' is becoming a modern classic, with increasing interest from collectors and enthusiasts who recognise its blend of performance and luxury. As time passes, well-maintained examples will become more desirable due to their rarity and distinctive design. While the S-Type R may not yet command the same values as Jaguar’s more iconic models, its supercharged V8 engine, elegant styling, and limited production numbers make it a strong candidate for future appreciation. The Ford-era Jags are starting to catch the eye of collectors, and the S-Type R, with its powerful engine and luxury features, stands out as one of the more engaging and affordable options.

In the 1980s, Fiat was at its most influential in Europe, building small, practical cars that became everyday staples across Italy, the UK, and much of the world.
Some of the most popular Fiat models of the decade included the Fiat Panda, a brilliantly simple boxy city car designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro that became famous for being cheap, tough, and easy to fix. One hardly sees any in New Zealand nowadays.

Rather than treating it as a celebrity vanity project, she got properly involved in the build, working with experienced builders while learning hands-on skills along the way. What stands out is that she actually engaged in the workshop process, learning, turning spanners, and understanding the work rather than just overseeing it, resulting in a tasteful restomod that blends old-school style with modern drivability and reflects a real, grounded enthusiasm for cars. We need more women like this in our industry in New Zealand. Cars are not just a guy thing. Get out there, get involved, join a club, or attend a class by Girls 'N' Gasoline as a start, and move onwards and upwards from there...
