Red Peach Gallery Art Gallery in the Heart of Ahuriri known as the “Lovely Gallery” Supporting selected Hawke’s Bay and NZ artists.

Red Peach Gallery is owned and operated by well known mosaic artist Janice Corbishley. Janice and her daughter Donna are both artists, and have a combination of 40 years retail experience between them.

A wee pīwakawaka with plenty of charm.

Lou Mathieson’s cast glass fantail catches the light beautifully, with a pale turquoise body and that unmistakable fanned tail. A lovely little reminder of a familiar garden visitor.

We also have other wee birds by Lou in a variety of gorgeous colours, each with its own character and something lovely to notice as the light changes.

Seasons of Promise by Raewyn Harris draws the eye through rolling green hills, patterned fields and a winding ribbon of white beneath a warm pink and golden sky. Long tree shadows and sweeping curves give the scene a lovely rhythm.

A lovely gathering of ladies has arrived at the gallery, and each one has her own personality.

Mandy Olson’s tall ceramic ladies are full of playful details, from colourful patterned dresses and fabulous hairstyles to bottles, handbags and little finishing touches. There’s plenty to notice, front and back.

We have eight different ladies, numbered 01–08, so you can choose the character that makes you smile. Each stands approximately 25cm tall and is sold separately.

Have you popped in to see Jan Maree Vodanovich’s Heart and Soul – A Kaimanawa Story here at the gallery? Her photographs draw on almost 20 years spent following the wild Kaimanawa horses, capturing moments of connection, resilience and belonging.

Meet The Scallywags, five wonderfully witty characters from Nola Weber, painted in oils at 93 years young.

Count Rabula, Lord Leapington, Field Marshall Burrows, Earl of Carotene and Mr. Ric O’Shet each have their own expression, splendid attire and unmistakable personality. At just 23 × 30cm each, they’re small in size and enormous in presence.

Nola’s last series of pig portraits went super fast, and we’re delighted to welcome this new gathering of characters to the gallery.

The paintings are by Nola Weber. The room settings shown in the lifestyle images are AI-generated mockups for styling inspiration.

Something extra special has arrived at the gallery.

Ion Brown’s End of the Day’s Sailing - Napier brings together golden harbour light, sailboats and shimmering reflections. A quiet evening scene with a lovely sense of home for those who know these waters.

Brown (1942–2021) was Official Artist to the New Zealand Army, with work held in Parliament Buildings and collections throughout New Zealand. It’s a pleasure to share this framed oil painting with you.

New work from Lyn Rigg has arrived, and there’s a lovely mix to discover.

From expressive clay faces and finely detailed porcelain feathers to little agateware bowls and jugs, each piece brings its own character. Waterbird adds another touch of movement, with flowing forms and a soft Blue Mist Glaze.

Lyn works from the beautiful Kāpiti Coast, creating ceramics with thoughtful details and plenty of personality. We’re delighted to share this new collection with you.
