What do you do with the china no one wants to use anymore?
Janice Corbishley has an answer, and her trusty Charlie (cat) is there to oversee all creativity!
Using fragments of your own treasured pieces — the inherited dinner set, the cups that belonged to someone you loved — Janice creates small mosaic artworks that give them an entirely new life. The china becomes something to look at, to keep, to pass on again. This time as art.
One client brought in her late mother's china. Her sons had no interest in the plates. But when Janice transformed them into a stag and a trout? They both wanted the artwork.
That's the thing about a commission like this. It doesn't just preserve something — it makes it matter again.
If you have a piece of china with a story, we'd love to hear it. Enquire in gallery or get in touch online.
