Paintings & collages

Ik maak collages en schilderijen in gemengde techniek op klein, middelgroot en groot formaat op doek en paneel. Bij het maken laat ik mij leiden door het toeval en werk hetgeen ik vind uit. Mensen spelen daarin vaak een centrale rol, al zijn ze op het eerste gezicht helemaal niet te zien. Ik maak hierbij keuzes die leiden tot zowel geabstraheerde als figuratieve beelden. Soms is de figuratie duidelijk aanwezig en soms is er slechts een glimp van waar te nemen.

Peter Arends is a draughtsman. With great patience and a keen eye for detail, he draws dark visions and macabre scenes that testify to his love-hate relationship with the cruel and absurd realities of life.
Or, as he puts it: "When you stare into the abyss, you see the most beautiful things."

Trees de Boer
Paintings

Trees de Boer was born in Amsterdam in 1953. She completed her artistic education in the field of ‘Free Painting’ at the Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Her professors were -among others - Martin Postma, Jutta Metzger, Paul Husner, P. H. Ten Hoopen and the sculpturen Eric Claus.
For her outstanding achievements as a graduate, she received the Willem Uriot Prize in 1982.
Her works were shown at numerous exhibitions and are enclosed in important company collections in the Netherlands.
Trees de Boer lives and works in Amsterdam.

Frank Clewits
Collage art works

Frank Clewits (industrieel ontwerper, 1949) werkt uitsluitend met papier en gebruikt geen digitale middelen.
Terugkerend thema in zijn werk is het ritme en de dynamiek tussen kleur en vorm, en het uiteindelijk voltooien van een door hem vormgegeven urbanisatie.

Erika Vink
Contemporary Realism Artist

Erika works primarily with gouache on paper, exploring the interaction of man and nature. Her style is influenced by masters from the Dutch Golden age and impressionism. However, she also draws from exceptional art in other, modern formats such as National Geographic photography and the cinematography of Wes Anderson.

Her favorite pieces pose more questions than they answer. They invite conversation.

Patrick Najar is autodidact kunstenaar en schildert sinds meer dan 50 jaar.
Hij heeft een grafische opleiding in Parijs gedaan en heeft in zijn jonge jaren in de reclame wereld gewerkt. Kleuren " praten met hem", zegt hij, en de kleuren vormen zijn schilderijen.
Hij woont deels in Amsterdam en Zuid Frankrijk.
