“Cosmic Creations,” an immersive children’s art workshop designed to introduce young minds to the vibrant world of contemporary African art. We believe the key to fostering the next generation of creative thinkers lies at the intersection of storytelling, observation, and confident hands-on learning.

This unique experience is facilitated by artist Pelumi Ponmile Pelumi Ponmile whose powerful exhibition, Cosmic Inheritance, serves as our inspiration. Pelumi will first guide children through the works, sharing the ‘why’ behind the process and the cultural weight of the Aso-Oke he uses.

Following the walk-through, participants will use Aso-Oke collage to create simplified abstract pieces inspired by the exhibition. This isn’t about perfect reproduction; it’s about giving children the space and the medium to interpret, trust their instincts, and discover their own artistic voice.
