“Belacak” uses textured mixed media to build a dense mangrove environment where intertwined roots, layered greens, and narrow waterways create depth and movement. Azwa’s use of plaster, adhesives, and acrylics forms a tactile surface that mimics the organic roughness of nature, while her intuitive strokes guide the eye toward the bright opening at the end of the waterway. This exhibition offers a journey across expressive abstraction, layered mixed media, reflective compositions, and spontaneous neurodivergent storytelling — a space where art becomes language and every canvas asks viewers to pause, feel, and discover meaning beyond the surface. Expect an experience that moves between quiet introspection and bold emotional movement, shaped by artists whose practices span generations and lived realities.

The exhibition features four distinctive voices. Former art educator Ahmed Ghazie Ibrahim brings decades of exploration through expressive landscapes and abstract forms exhibited at major national and international institutions. Dato’ Dr. Hashim Yaacob, a respected academic and cultural figure, offers works shaped by wisdom, heritage, and late‑life creativity. Azwa Rahwi, a Kuala Lumpur‑based mixed‑media artist, presents textured emotional abstractions rooted in intuition, healing, and the beauty of imperfection.
