Initiated by BROWN Coffee and HKA & Partners, Vann Molyvann House is a vibrant hub for arts and architecture communities, where ideas are shared, generations connect, and the legacy of a master architect inspires Cambodian future designers. Initiated by the local coffee brand Brown and architecture firm HKA & Partners, the former residence of renowned Cambodian architect Vann Molyvann has been tho
ughtfully transformed into a vibrant hub for Cambodia’s art and architecture community. His house now serves multiple purposes across four levels, each dedicated to celebrating and continuing his legacy:
Ground Floor – Brown Coffee
A welcoming café space designed for meetings, work, and casual gatherings, fostering informal dialogue around architecture and creativity. First Floor – Vann Molyvann Archive & Permanent Exhibition
This floor houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to Molyvann’s life and work. It features archival photographs, original and new architectural drawings, and physical models of three of his most significant projects. The collection highlights his enduring influence on modern architecture in Cambodia as well as Southeast Asia. Second Floor – Architecture Library
In response to limited academic resources in Cambodia, the architecture library provides access to a curated collection on modern and contemporary architecture. It is an open, non-institutional resource center that supports architecture students, emerging professionals, researchers, and the general public, bridging the gap between local academic training and global discourse. Third Floor – Community Event Space
Dedicated to hosting events around art, architecture, and community, this space nurtures dialogue and collaboration within Cambodia’s creative community. In 2026, it will become the venue for a major event program celebrating Vann Molyvann’s legacy and the vitality of Cambodia’s modern architectural heritage.
