国際的なフリーの学芸員。ラディカル・シェアリングの実践を体現している。名高い美術館や組織で活動。キュレーター、アートディレクター、管理者へと昇進。韓国工芸デザイン財団の事務局長を務める。文化資産の輸入に注力。2013年に京畿世界陶磁ビエンナーレで国際委員、2015年に清州市クラフトビエンナーレのアートディレクター、2016年～2018年はV&A博物館の韓仏交流130周年記念でゲストクレーター、ミラノデザインウィーク2017ではConstancy and Change Korean Craft展のアートディレクターを務める。西イングランド大学ブリストル校を卒業後、梨花女子大学大学院で修士号を取得。

Began as a studio artist, working her way up to curator, artistic director, and an administrator. Served as Secretary General for KCDF. Committed to importing cultural assets. Worked as International Commissioner in the GICB 2013; as Art Director for the Cheongju Craft Biennale 2015; Guest Curator of the 130 Years of Korea-France Relations at V&A 2016-2018 and more. Graduated from University of the West of England, Bristol. Received her master’s degree in Ewha Women’s University.

1957年神戸市生まれ。1985年多摩美術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程修了。2006年多摩美術大学美術学部工芸学科教授就任(現在名誉教授)。80年代から陶を素材に大型の立体作品を制作し、現代陶芸の作家として注目を集める。国内外の展覧会で発表。多くの美術館に作品がコレクションされており、2017年には「第24回日本陶芸展」で大賞受賞するなど、現在も精力的に発表を続けている。「井上雅之　描くように造る」(茨城県陶芸美術館、2022)、「井上雅之展―多摩美術大学退職記念―」(ギャルリー東京ユマニテ、2022)、「革新の工芸 ―”伝統と前衛”、そして現代―」(東京国立近代美術館 工芸館、2016)、「井上雅之　初形より―花型(山口県立萩美術館・浦上記念館、2015)、「アルス・ノーヴァ―現代美術と工芸のはざまに」(東京都現代美術館、2005)、「Japanese Studio Crafts: Tradition and the Avant-Garde」(ヴィクトリア&アルバート博物館、ロンドン、1995)など。

Born in Kobe City in 1957. Completed the Master’s Program at Tama Art University Graduate School in 1985. Appointed Professor in the Department of Ceramic, Glass and Metal Works, Faculty of Art and Design, Tama Art University in 2006 (currently Professor Emeritus). Since the 1980s, he has created large-scale sculptures using ceramic materials, gaining attention as a contemporary ceramic artist. His works have been exhibited in domestic and international exhibitions and numerous museums hold his works in their collections. He continues to exhibit actively, including winning the Grand Prize at the 24th Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition in 2017. “INOUE Masayuki, Molding a form like drawing” at Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum (2022), “Inoue Masayuki: Commemoration of Tama Art University Retirement” at Galerie Tokyo Humanité (2022), “Craft Arts: Innovation of ‘Tradition and Avant-Garde,’ and the Present Day” at Crafts Gallery, The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo (2016), “Inoue Masayuki: Prototype Form—Flower Shape” at Hagi Uragami Museum (2015), “Ars Nova: Between The Contemporary Avant-garde Art and The Crafts” at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (2005), “Japanese Studio Crafts: Tradition and the Avant-Garde” at Victoria and Albert Museum, London (1995).

1967年岐阜県出身。やきものの総合誌『季刊 陶磁郎』副編集長、『つくる陶磁郎』編集長を経て、2009年、坂井編集企画事務所を立ち上げ、工芸やデザイン、素材に関する本・図録やWebサイトの企画・編集を行う。2016年より、一般社団法人ザ・クリエイション・オブ・ジャパン常任理事。2019年より、公益社団法人日本陶磁協会事務局長、現在『陶説』の編集を行っている。
Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1967. After serving as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of “Quarterly Tojiro” (a comprehensive ceramics magazine) and Editor-in-Chief of “Tsukuru Tojiro”, he established the Sakai Editorial Planning Office in 2009, where he planned and edit books, catalogs, and websites related to crafts, design, and materials. Since 2016, he has served as a standing director of The Creation of Japan General Incorporated Association. Since 2019, he has been the secretary general of The Japan Ceramic Society, a public interest incorporated association, and currently edits the journal “Tosetsu.”

三重県津市⽣まれ、ケルンおよびベルリン在住。
⼤阪外国語⼤学（現・⼤阪⼤学外国語学科）でスペイン語を学ぶ。セビリア⼤学美術学部（スペイン）を卒業。 1979年－1983年チューリヒ（スイス）に居住。1983年ファーバーカステル社とニュルンベルグ市（ドイツ）の奨学⾦を得て、ニュルンベルグに滞在。1985年 ケルンに移り、1996年からベルリンを拠点に活動する。1991-2015年 ベルリン芸術⼤学の教授を務める。2014年- ⼥⼦美術⼤学の教授を務める。
近年の主な個展に、2019年「土と星 Our Planet」（国立新美術館、東京）、2022年「もっと光を！」（アジア美術館、ドイツ）、2025年「マザースケープ」（アルベルティーナ美術館、オーストリア）、「サンパウロビエンナーレ」（シッシロ・マタラッツォ・パビリオン、ブラジル）、2026年「バンコクビエンナーレ」（ベトナム）、「国際美術展『TOKYO ATLAS』」（東京）。2014年にケルン美術賞、2019年に文部科学⼤⾂賞を受賞。日本政府により2025年度の文化功労者に選ばれた。
Born in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, Japan, and currently lives and works in Cologne and Berlin, Germany.
She studied Spanish at Osaka University of Foreign Studies (now the School of Foreign Studies, The University of Osaka), and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Seville in Spain. From 1979 to 1983, she lived in Zurich, Switzerland. In 1983, she received a scholarship from Faber-Castell and the city of Nuremberg, which led her to stay in Nuremberg, Germany. In 1985, she moved to Cologne, and since 1996 she has been based in Berlin. From 1991 to 2015, she served as a professor at the Berlin University of the Arts. Since 2014, she has also been a professor at Joshibi University of Art and Design in Japan.
Recent major solo exhibitions include:2019 “Our Planet: Earth & Stars” (The National Art Center, Tokyo, Japan), 2022 “More Light!” (Asian Art Museum, Germany), 2025 ”Mother Scape” (ALBERTINA, Austria), Sao Paulo Art Biennial (Pavilhao Ciccillo Matarazzo), 2026 Bangkok Art Biennale (Vietnam), International Art Exhibition TOKYO ATLAS (Tokyo).
She has received the Cologne Art Prize in 2014, and the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Prize in 2019. Selected as a Person of Cultural Merit for 2025 by Japanese government.

Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1952. After working as a researcher in technology development, and as an editor in advertising marketing, design, and architecture, he established TRUNK LTD. in 1988, a design planning and production company. He has been involved in producing exhibitions both domestically and internationally, and in launching the design information site/web magazine “Japan Design Net (JDN)”. Since 1993, he has been active in establishing the Toyama Prefectural Design Center. Based in Tokyo, Toyama, and Milan, he works in direction, brand production, and exhibition curation.

1960 年愛媛県松山市生まれ。筑波大学芸術専門学群芸術学主専攻（美術史）を1983 年に卒業後、東京の都立高
校で12 年間教壇に立つ。1995 年から山口県の専門学芸員として県立萩美術館・浦上記念館の開設準備に従事。
翌年同館に赴任し東洋陶磁と教育普及を担当、2002 年からは研究対象を萩焼ほか日本陶磁の茶陶や近現代陶芸に
拡げ、併せて担当。2021 年に定年退職し同年に現職に就く。
Born in Matsuyama City, Mie Prefecture in 1960. After graduating from the University of Tsukuba in 1983 with a major in
art history, he worked as a teacher at metropolitan high schools of Tokyo for 12 years. From 1995, engaged in preparations
for the opening of Hagi Uragami Museum as an expert curator of Yamaguchi. Transferred to the museum the next year, and
was in charge of oriental ceramics and educational dissemination. In 2002, expanded his research to include Hagi ware,
Japanese tea ceremony ceramics, and modern and contemporary ceramics. Retired in 2021 and took his current position.

体験型作陶施設HO-CAさんのイベントで、本日はリザさんが、セラミックパークMINOの茶室で開催されたお茶会に参加しました。
リザさんが制作した茶碗が実際に使われ、抹茶をいただいた後の「拝見」の時間は、まさにリザさんの作品鑑賞の時間に。作品を手に取り、その魅力をじっくり味わうことのできる、なんとも贅沢なひとときとなりました。

Today, at an event hosted by HO-CA, Liza joined a traditional tea gathering in the tea room at Ceramics Park MINO.

One of the tea bowls she created was used for serving matcha, and after enjoying the tea, guests spent time appreciating the bowl during the haiken (tea bowl viewing) portion of the gathering.

For that moment, the tea gathering became an opportunity to experience and admire Liza’s work up close—a truly special and memorable experience.
