Earlier this month Team Kanata had a beautiful evening bidding a brief farewell to 18-year veteran Yoriko Takashi, who will be going on maternity leave with her second child.
We will miss you, Yoriko, but we can’t wait to see you come back next year with your baby!

カナタに勤めて18年目の髙橋が今月より2度目の産休に入ることになりました。
しばらくのお休みとなりますが、その前にささやかな産休パーティをチームで楽しむことが叶いました。
カナタの精神的支柱でもある髙橋さん。
元気なベビーちゃんと一緒に戻ってくることをみんなで祈願しています！

The Kanata team in NY had a wonderful time exhibiting at the Independent art fair at Pier 36 this past week, with a solo presentation of Japanese painter Masanori Maeda’s latest works.
During the course of the 4-day fair (our first time at the show), we are happy to report that nearly all of Maeda-san’s works have been sold out completely.
Congratulations to the artist for painting such a beautiful exhibition in such a short span of time, and many thanks to our clients and our young Kanata team members who helped to make Independent such a great success. Hope to see you again next year!

ニューヨークにて開催されたIndependent Art Fairにて、ア・ライトハウス・カナタは日本画家・前田正憲さんの個展を行い、実り多き時間を過ごすことが叶いました。

カナタにとって初出展となったIndependent 展。このフェアの特徴として、世界でも稀な「個展形式」のみの展示が出展条件です。

グループ展が主流であるTEFAFやFrieze、Art Baselと一線を画すIndependentですが、4日間の会期を通じ、カナタが出品した前田作品がほぼ完売となりました。

静かなる詩情が込められた美しい個展を創り上げた前田さんに心から祝意を。そして世界中のお客様に、深く感謝を。みなさま、どうもありがとうございました！
