【ナイトミュージアムガイドウォーク開催】

お盆シーズンの夜間特別開館にあわせ、
ナイトミュージアムガイドウォーク
「夜の博物館とお城探索」を開催しました。

県外からお越しの方にもご参加いただいた今回のツアー。

静かな夜の博物館で松本の歴史や文化に触れたあとは、
夕暮れから夜へと表情を変えていく城下町へ。

博物館を飛び出し、
ガイドの解説に耳を傾けながら松本城下を歩き、
最後は夜の松本城へと向かいました。

昼間とはひと味違う静かな街並みと、
夜空に浮かぶ松本城。
展示室で知った歴史と、
今もまちに息づく歴史を重ねながら、
松本のまちをゆっくりと巡りました。

実際に歩き、見て、感じることで、
松本の歴史と「まちそのもの」の魅力を、
より身近に感じていただける
特別なひとときとなっていましたら幸いです。

【Night Museum Guide Walk】

To coincide with our special evening opening during the Obon holiday season, we held a special “Night Museum Guide Walk.”

This time, we were delighted to welcome participants from both within and outside Nagano Prefecture.

After exploring Matsumoto’s history and culture inside the museum in the quiet evening atmosphere, we stepped outside and into the castle town as dusk gradually turned to night.

Guided through the streets of Matsumoto, participants listened to stories and insights along the way before making their way to Matsumoto Castle after dark.

The peaceful streets took on a different character from the daytime, with Matsumoto Castle standing beautifully against the night sky. As we walked through the city, the history introduced in the museum connected with the history that still lives on in Matsumoto today.

We hope that walking through the city—seeing, listening, and experiencing it firsthand—offered everyone a special opportunity to feel closer to Matsumoto’s history and discover the unique charm of the city itself.

Thank you to everyone who joined us.

To celebrate the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival (2026 OMF) , local music lovers came together for the “Welcome Street Live.”

Some stopped to listen, while others found themselves smiling along to the rhythm.
