The renewed vintage mailbox is ready to receive the thousands of letters addressed to Juliet! 💌✨

Dating back to 1960, this charming wooden mailbox was originally an old medicine cabinet, lovingly repainted in Juliet’s iconic red. Today, it is ready once again to hold the world’s most intimate confidences — stories of love, hope, longing and dreams. ❤️

You can find it at Juliet’s House in Verona, where visitors from all over the world leave their letters to Juliet.

Once a week, the Juliet Club collects the letters and brings them to its headquarters in Vicolo Santa Cecilia. There, Juliet’s Secretaries gather to read and reply with care, dedication and a little bit of magic. 💌❤️

**Today is Juliet’s birthday.**

But when was Juliet truly born?

Our literary research takes us back to Luigi da Porto who, in the early 16th century, wrote in Vicenza the story of two young lovers from Verona: Romeo and Juliet.

A text that predates Shakespeare and already contains many of the elements that would become immortal: Verona, forbidden love, feuding families, the balcony, and tragedy.

From those pages began a journey spanning five centuries—from literature to myth, from myth to the city, and finally to the letters that still reach Juliet from every corner of the world.

Happy birthday, Juliet.
