kura. is a nomadic kunsthalle, conceived and curated by CURA.
Initiated in July 2018 within the premises of Fonderia Artistica Battaglia in Milan, and then suspended from 2020 to 2023, kura. is intended as a long-term exhibition program, that defines itself over time.
Born from a misspelling of CURA. magazine’s name, the k represents the glitch, the element of novelty reminiscent of the k in kunsthalle, but that also bases its roots in the very idea of “spazio okkupato” (occupied space).
Its new opening is scheduled for 2024.
