Nice Flat in Rome

Nice Flat in Rome Info about accomodation in Rome, interesting, fun and conteporary news of the city My name is Michele, I adore my city (Rome) where I was born and raised.

I then left Italy to travel the world for several years and finally came back to Rome where I find my destination, steady work and my family. I promote a small but select number of apartments, studios, penthouses in the heart of Antique Rome. The right quality of the flat, the price, and my assistance during the entire journey is the first sign that everyone notice after few hours. The result of e

xperience achieved is a great satisfaction to me and to my traveling clients. In fact, they appreciate my job, my services and while at the same time, they enjoy their Holiday in the properties. The difference between NiceFlatInRome and other is the seriousness in business, the quality of the services, the kindness of the personnel. In addition, the availability when it comes to solving problems related to the vacation in our flats, is today - a big advantage. Our slogan that we are working daily to maintain is “ THE ART OF HOSPITALITY”

Garbatella area: a really special place in Rome!
This entire neighborhood was built by the city in the 1920's as primarily public housing. It was mostly built in the Rococo style and each building was built to have its own garden or central area inside of it, like a large courtyard to provide space for its residents to get together. This is one of the many gems nestled within the city. You get lost walking http://bit.ly/14wgSU8

Walking inside Trastevere area!!
The heart of Trastevere is Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, a pedestrianised square piazza lined with restaurants and pricey bars, faded palazzi, and the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere. The steps surrounding the pretty central fountain are a popular hang-out spot for a non-typical crowd (watch out for unwashed jugglers). Heading up the lane to the right of the church, and... http://bit.ly/13gsIRp

Summer is arriving!! Rome's Most Convenient Beach
Romans often say that the beaches near Rome just aren't that nice but after visiting Santa Marinella, I beg to differ.
Is a small town 60km north of Rome. The beaches here tend to be far less crowded than the ones at Ostia. Santa Marinella can be reached by train (35 minutes) as well as by bus from Rome (almost 1 h).
The beach at Santa Marinella, a seaside comune just outside the city, has a couple of things going for it. First off, it's free. Although that might sound odd if you haven't sunbathed in Italy before, most other beaches cost you.

It is that time of year again – the time when Northern Rome’s Stadio Olimpico gets even more crazy than usual as the city’s two teams face each for ‘right to represent the city of Rome in Italy.’ Being one of the greatest derbies in football, this game is marked by a huge turn-out, excitement…and occasionally violence. http://bit.ly/12yy6if

Sunday market in San Basilio Rome!
“We aim to keep the market simple, by allowing only real junk dealers, who have emptied cellars, attics and garages that have not been touched for years and can be full of interesting objects. This way we have created a group of loyal visitors, who are at the market every week.” The organizer of the market declaired.

Rome: April 7th 2013,walking Tour in RIONE REGOLA!!!

Regola is the VII rione of Rome. The name comes from Arenula, (the name is present in the modern Via Arenula) that was the name of the soft sand (rena in Italian) that the river Tiber left after the floods, and that built strands on the left bank.

SINEAD O'CONNOR live concert in Rome
Sinead O’Connor has chosen to call her latest concerts the Crazy Baldhead Tour.
The funny name demonstrates the shaven-headed Irish star’s unadorned honesty. She’s often caricatured for her outspoken views and erratic behavior. Notoriously, she ripped up a photograph of Pope John Paul II on television. More recently she has been open in discussing her bipolar condition.

Earth Hour is a global WWF (formerly known as World Wildlife Fund) climate change initiative.
It is an eventthat aims to create awareness of people taking responsibility towards a sustainable future by turning the lights off. Millions of people around the world switch off their lights for Earth Hour at 8.30pm (20:30) in their local times on the last Saturday of March each year.
In 2013, Earth Hour occurs one week earlier, on March 23. Here in Rome the focus this year will be on Piazza di Spagna where the comedians from the Ottovolante programme on Radio2 Rai will entertain the crowds from 19.00 leading up to the switching off of the lights at 20.30.

Daytrip from Rome : Villa d'Este, a paradise to discover!

Villa d’Este, masterpiece of the Italian Garden, is included in the UNESCO world heritage list. With its impressive concentration of fountains, nymphs, grottoes, plays of water, and music, it constitutes a much-copied model for European gardens in the mannerist and baroque styles.
The villa was built by Cardinal Ippolito d'Este (1509-1572), son of Lucrezia Borgia and Alfonso I Duke of Ferrara, and grandson of Pope Alexander VI.
You can get a train on the Roma-Pescara Line from Rome's Tiburtina station to Tivoli. It takes about a half hour. Then you'll hop a shuttle bus to the town center and Villa d'Este.

The best 4 Rome's "OPEN AIR MARKETS"
While Rome pulsates with history, vistas, art and architecture, another way to experience the exuberance and vitality of this city is through her foods and people. Italians are the most joyously fed people on earth, and every morning in outdoor food markets across the city, small vendors enact the market scenes that industrial-scale distribution has yet to suppress.
Here is the best top 4 Rome's Open air.....http://bit.ly/11kekmv

The Leonardo da Vinci Machines Exhibition in Rome – The genius and his inventions – celebrates the universal genius of Leonardo da Vinci by presenting about fifty full scale machines: flying machines, like the precursor to the parachute, a bicycle, a hydraulic saw, and many other inventions.
What a genius! Macchine di Leonardo is definitely worth seeing! They are fully operational and they can be touched and set in motion. The exhibition takes you inside the mind of a genius.

This is a little museum that deserves to be seen. It is such a pleasure to have some space to admire the pieces, rather than elbowing for a view. The gigantic gypsum statue are remarkable, you will be suprised!!!
