We participated in the amazing fundraiser for Favela Miami, a non-profit started by Valerie Navarrete. Its mission is to assist the homeless to transition to permanent housing. The event was a great success. Thank you Valerie for involving us in this noble initiative! We donated a replica on canvas of a Kobe Bryant mosaic portrait for the charity.

Italian Mosaics Opening at Avalon Hotel

The private opening of Italian American Icons on October 3 was a big success. We were honored by the presence of the Mayor of Miami Beach Dan Gelber who presented a proclamation to Tom Glassie, owner of Avalon Hotel and the restaurant A Fish Called Avalon. Eva Alvino, Vice Consul General of Italy in Miami and other dignitaries also took part in the event. Cindy Sadler from the Florida Grand Opera sang Italian arias. We are very grateful for this premier in Miami and for the collaboration with all the staff of Avalon Hotel.
