For the first time in Switzerland, the sculptural work of Park Eun Sun ( Park Eun Sun ) enters into dialogue with the drawings and scale models developed by Mario Botta ( MARIO BOTTA ARCHITETTI ) for the Infinito Museum project. The encounter between the two creators gives rise to a compelling exhibition, in which sculpture and architecture engage as autonomous yet complementary languages, inviting a broader reflection on the relationship between form. space, and matter.

Thirty Years of the “Generazione” Series

Spanning three decades of artistic practice, Generazione – Evoluzione brings together the essential stages of an ongoing investigation into matter, form, and process.

The Generazione series has accompanied my work since the beginning of my sculptural practice in Italy, becoming a recurring language through which material, gesture, and transformation are continuously redefined.

Rather than a retrospective, this work is a synthesis: a single image of an evolving body of work, condensed into one iconic form.

Studio Sam. In a career spanning over thirty years, this place remains one of my most intense chapters. I left my country to pursue a single dream: to become a sculptor. It was just me and my wife - no friends, no family nearby, speaking neither Italian nor English, and without a job. All we had was a dream. It was tough and deeply emotional; it was there that I truly began to put in the hard work, day after day, still today. It is a memory I will carry with me forever.

Studio Sam. In oltre trent'anni di carriera, questo luogo rimane uno dei capitoli più intensi della mia vita. Ho lasciato il mio Paese per inseguire un unico sogno: diventare uno scultore. Eravamo solo io e mia moglie, senza amici né parenti, senza conoscere una parola di italiano o di inglese e senza un lavoro, ma con una visione chiara davanti agli occhi. È stata dura, è stata una sfida emotiva costante; è stato lì che ho iniziato a dedicare ogni singolo giorno al duro lavoro. È un ricordo che porterò sempre con me.
