Throwback to two years ago when The Horse Museum Foundation visited our friends of Paard Verzameld Equine Art Services during the extraordinary exhibition โ€œStorytellers Expoโ€ at De Paardenkampโฃ๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŽ

We were truly immersed in a unique environment filled with horses, art, and pure passion!

We met incredible artists dedicated to celebrating horses through their unique styles and vibrant colors. The warmth and creativity of everyone we encountered were inspiring, and many of these talented artists later collaborated with us on the โ€œLove at First Sightโ€ exhibition.๐ŸŽ ๐ŸŽจโœจ

De Paardenkamp is a sanctuary where older horses and ponies enjoy a well-deserved retirement. What began as a humble shed has grown into three farms, now home to more than 120 horses and ponies. This extraordinary place welcomes horse lovers of all ages to visit and connect with these magnificent animals.

A heartfelt thank you to Paard Verzameld, for this incredible opportunity to meet such wonderful people and experience so much beauty.

Art and horses possess a ๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ capable of deeply touching the human soul, alleviating the suffering of those in needโ€ฆ. Paola Pericone, an artist who inherited her passion for art from a family of artists, has found in this combination an incredible therapeutic means.

We are pleased to announce that Paola has donated her works to the Horse Museum Foundation! ๐ŸŒŸ
Her paintings enchant visitors every day: the fined horses are displayed in the winery of ๐Ÿท and fascinate those who come to taste a glass of wine, while the dancing horses enliven the rooms, captivating those who choose to stay with us.

๐ŸŽ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’—Throwback to the exhibition โ€œ๐…๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐๐จ๐ฆ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‡๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž: ๐š ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ง ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐š๐ซ๐ญโ€, held some time ago in Rocca Priora with the support of the City Hall of Rocca Priora, Regione Lazio, FISE, and the University of Foro Italico. This exhibition celebrated the ๐›๐จ๐ง๐ ๐›๐ž๐ญ๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐ฆ๐š๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž, showcasing its timeless representation in art.

Curated by the Horse Museum Foundation, the exhibition featured two sections: one highlighted the artistic craftsmanship surrounding the horse, while the other focused on introducing children and adults to equestrian sports through interactive exhibits and stories of young riders caring for their horses.โœจ๐ŸŽ

As part of Disney+โ€™s reality show โ€œMy Name is Gabriel,โ€ Jennie spent three incredible days experiencing the life of an Italian girl managing an agriturismo. For those unfamiliar, BlackPink is one of the most famous K-pop groups globally, with millions of fans and a powerful influence across music and fashion. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ–ค

While here, Jennie explored our Horse Museum, a one-of-a-kind space that celebrates the deep connection between humans and horses through history and art. From ancient art to modern equestrian culture, she was fascinated by the collection and even added a personal touch by placing a horse statuette in the exhibition. ๐Ÿ‡โœจ

The filming was full of heartwarming moments with horses, including a symbolic passing of the reins of our famous pony, Bamby, and Jennieโ€™s genuine excitement in being part of such a meaningful experience. ๐Ÿ’–
