In the heart of Budapest, inside the magnificent Corvin Palace, lives a space where art, history, and culture converge; and we are thrilled to welcome them aboard! This collaboration is made possible with the outstanding cooperation of curator Edina Balogh curator, manager.

APOLLO is more than a gallery. It is a unique cultural hub dedicated to showcasing outstanding Hungarian and international contemporary art, from established masters to the most exciting emerging voices of today, through thoughtfully curated exhibitions that inspire and provoke.

The name APOLLO pays homage to the very first movie theatre that once stood on this square, long before the elegant, classicist Corvin Palace was built in 1926.

Through the 20th century, the building evolved into a department store with all the sophistication of its Parisian and Londoner counterparts, a place where fine art was never an afterthought, but always part of its soul.

APOLLO's fresh presence in Corvin Palace is a tribute to that tradition — and to the bold, progressive spirit of both the building and the city of Budapest itself.
