No Man's Land Foundation No Man’s Land Foundation is a model for social and ethical change, a project repeatable in any place in the world.

No Man’s Land is a gift that art offers to all. No Man’s Land is a site-specific permanent intervention that has been realized by Yona Friedman with Jean-Baptiste Decavèle, in Contrada Rotacesta of Loreto Aprutino (Pescara, Italy). Extending over two hectares of countryside, it is composed by a tapestry made out of a huge amount of white river stones, a bamboo structure that recalls Friedman’s museum without walls and an imaginary dictionary by Friedman carved by the volunteers into more than 200 walnut trees. No Man's Land was built together with students, artists and curators, becoming a privileged place to renew training processes and culture spreading processes. An open architecture, interactive and dynamic, thought for being used by different groups of people and in different environments: a proper shared space. No Man’s Land Foundation is a model for social and ethical change aiming to cancel the idea of property, a project repeatable in any place in the world. No Man's Land is a gift that art offers to all. Following Friedman's philosophy the ones participating to the project will create an open dialogue through artistic interactions and future interventions sharing ideas, needs and thoughts. No Man's Land has been realized with the support and collaboration of Zerynthia Association ODV and ARIA Foundation ( under the artistic direction of Cecilia Casorati). Yona Friedman is the Honorary President of the recently created Foundation No Man's Land.

🌿 CI SIAMO. DOMANI È CANTIERE APERTO!

Il 10 ottobre, dalle ore 12.00, vi aspettiamo a No Man’s Land per una giornata insieme, immersi nel paesaggio, tra arte, musica, poesia e performance.

Per la IV edizione di CANTIERE APERTO, Adrian Paci inaugurerà una nuova installazione site-specific e permanente, che entrerà a far parte delle opere di No Man’s Land.

Un’intera giornata da trascorrere insieme, muovendosi liberamente tra opere, suoni, parole e natura.

12.00 Saluti istituzionali introdotti da Alessandra Gabriele e inaugurazione dell’ installazione permanente site-specific dell’artista Adrian Paci nel noceto.

Tra gli ospiti di CANTIERE APERTO, YVA & THE TOY GEORGE, progetto solista di Iva Stanisic, musicista e artista serba residente a Roma, arriva a No Man’s Land con un live che attraversa elettronica, hip hop, world music e suggestioni folk e mediterranee dei Balcani.

Ritmi ossessivi, synth acidi, voce manipolata e lingue diverse danno vita a un rituale pagano e ipnotico, una sorta di favola turbofolk psichedelica in cui l’unica salvezza è la danza.

Con quattro album solisti all’attivo, YVA si è esibita in club, festival, musei e teatri in diverse città europee. Compone inoltre per cinema e teatro, con musiche presentate in produzioni arrivate, tra gli altri, ai festival di Cannes e Berlino e alla Biennale di Venezia.

Tra gli ospiti di CANTIERE APERTO, Marko Miladinović, poeta, performer e operatore culturale ticinese, porta a No Man’s Land una ricerca che attraversa poesia sonora, performance e video-poesia.
Nato a Vukovar nel 1988 e attivo tra Lugano e Imperia, è presente in festival nazionali e internazionali e dal 2014 cura Ticino Poetry (Slam). La sua ricerca intreccia parola, voce, suono e sperimentazione, muovendosi tra poesia, musica, radio e cinema.
Tra le sue pubblicazioni L’umanità gentile (Miraggi, 2017), Libro massimo di poesia (Agenzia X, 2024) e, con lo pseudonimo Milarepadino, Monte analogo / Mont Analogue (Éditions Dasein, 2026), da cui è tratto anche il poema sonoro pubblicato su cassetta da Dischi Amici.
