A journey through and beyond time unfolds in Kyoto, the third stop of the House’s traveling exhibition, hosted at Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art to celebrate 60 years of Gucci in Japan. In a series of immersive rooms designed by contemporary artist Es Devlin, a special curation by fashion theorist and critic Maria Luisa Frisa presents a captivating narrative, from the House’s earliest designs to Sabato De Sarno’s latest creations—highlighting the enduring legacy of its creativity and vision.

Now in Kyoto—the twin city of Florence, where Gucci was founded—Gucci Cosmos traces the House’s over 100-year history and creative legacy while celebrating 60 years of Gucci in Japan. Six immersive rooms explore how for over a century Gucci’s abiding codes and spirit have been brought to life in its most iconic pieces, and how these era-defining classics have forever inspired and been reinterpreted by the House’s design visionaries.
Guests gathering at the opening of the exhibition were Global Brand Ambassador Jun Shison, Mari Natsuki, Eita Nagayama, Yoasobi, and Juri Ueno.
