Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dhalai (KVK DHALAI) is a district level institution (Farm Science Centre) engaged in transfer of latest agricultural technologies to the end users for bridging the gap between production and productivity. It works through partnership mode with allied departments and agencies. The KVK Dhalai was established vide sanction Memo No. 9-23/2002-AE-1 dated 15-07-2005 under the admini

strative control of the Department of Agriculture, Government of Tripura with financial assistance from ICAR. Since inception this KVK has been endeavoring for the up-liftment of socio-economic condition of the farming community of the district through scientific intervention in the agricultural and allied sectors.

Visit of Dr. S. Viraktamath, Emeritus Scientist Entomology Dept. UAS Bangalore; GKVK Campus, today at KVK during a Vocational Training for the Beekeepers & hold a interaction with the Bee Keepers of the District. Field visited nearby KVK & given a hands on training on Bee Colony transfer to Bee Boxes. A very good interaction taken place with the Beekeepers.
