Hon’ble Shri , Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, along with Shri Shantanu Thakur, MoS, MoPSW, visited and reviewed the progress of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC), Lothal.

The review was attended by Shri T.K. Ramachandran (IAS), Secretary, MoPSW, senior officials from the Ministry, Government of Gujarat dignitaries, and maritime sector stakeholders.

A major step towards international maritime collaboration!

An LoI (Letter of Intent) was signed between the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC), Lothal, Gujarat, India and the Maritime Museum of Denmark, Elsinore 🇮🇳🤝🇩🇰

This milestone agreement was formalized during the visit of Hon’ble Shri Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, to the museum on 7th June 2025, strengthening cross-cultural partnerships in preserving and promoting maritime heritage.
