More than just A Doll’s Museum and Gift Shop, a venue for empowering women
A Dolls House
A Doll’s House is a museum and gift shop located in the artist’s colony in Tzfat. Displayed are nearly 100 hand made dolls by Doll Maker MILA ROSENFELD all dressed in hand made historically accurate costumes. There are also a variety of dolls by other makers. We will focus on dolls made in Israel and hope to carry work by doll artist’s and crafters from Northern Israel and around the country. We will also hold workshops in art, porcelain doll making, paper dolls and other forms of craft.
We hope to provide a means of support for stay home moms in Tzfat where the museum is located as well as women in other parts of Israel. Once A doll’s house is able to support itself we plan to donate a percentage of the proceeds to women with children in Israel suffering severe hardship.
