This video is a combination of clips beginning precovid up until the painting series ended. It starts with the normality of precovid life, people close together which is now a foreign sight to us. It continues and documents the beginning of the pandemic as things began to close and quarantine was implemented. We were in the same bubble which allowed us to continue to paint throughout the pandemic, something which we never took for granted.
We'd like to thank Fionn Murphy for shooting the footage and editing this video, Dylan Bible for the accompanying music, Perry O'Toole for the photograph of the Dunmore Road graffiti "We All Love You" which inspired this series and everyone in the Theatre Royal for providing us with a beautiful space to display the paintings and hang them for us. Thank you to everyone who's supported us along the way; friends, family. For everyone who's followed along this series, we hope you find a bit of yourself in it, or see someone you love reflected. Our goal is to represent everyone. Whoever you are, wherever you are, this is for you. Thank you, we all love you.

Painting 6/6
This painting pays homage to Dave's father Ron Curran. Although he did not come from a strong education, he worked hard every single day to provide a life for his wife and kids. His drive is truly inspirational. Despite coming from a generation which was focused on getting a 9 to 5 job, Ron still encouraged his son to pursue what he loves and inadvertently shaped him to be what he is today, as all parents do. Dave also makes walking sticks and sculptures and his father was always fond of his woodwork pieces. A walking stick can be seen in this painting which is a nod to how we all become old and one day we will become our parents. Ron represents determination and nurturing. Thank you Ron, we all love you.
The paintings can be viewed in the Theater Royal Waterford open
Tuesday to Friday 10-4 and Saturday 12-4 or 8pm on performance days.

Painting 5/6
This painting was inspired by Gilbert from the collaborative art duo Gilbert and George. The pair are undaunted by experimentation and have paved the way for other duos such as ourselves and we wanted to honor that in this series. It also represents the homeless community in Waterford who have suffered during the pandemic. While many of us have been fortunate enough to quarantine in our own homes, many have not shared that luxury. During lockdown there was less people on the streets and therefore less money and food being donated to homeless people. It is inspiring how resilient they have been. Gilbert represents challenge and perseverance. Thank you Gilbert, we all love you.

Painting 4/6
Greta Thunberg is the name of the young Swedish activist. Her choice to go on a climate strike instead of school in 2018 sparked an international movement for action against the climate crisis. Greta makes us feel a sense of shame against our generation as our eyes are being further opened to how the actions of previous generations are limiting the further ones. Greta is a huge inspiration to us as she has the courage to take action and be heard. The title of her book "Nobody is too Small to Make a Difference" is truly inspirational and we wanted to honor her with this painting. It also represents all the young people who have been missing out on rights of passage and their dreams due to the pandemic. This painting is dedicated to all the young people who have done their part throughout lockdown. Greta represents bravery and hope, which both Thunberg and young people of today embody. Thank you Greta, we all love you.

Painting 3/6
This painting represents the climate activists of the world, the learners, the teachers, the explorers. We wanted to pay homage to Grace O' Sullivan with this painting as she embodies all those traits and more. Grace is the name of Waterford's environmental activist who campaigned with Greenpeace for 20 years. She is now a MEP still fighting for a better planet. Grace has been an inspiration to us since the 80's when she was written about in the book "You Can't Sink a Rainbow". It described the courageous acts of a young woman from Tramore in Greenpeace defending the planet and risking her own life in the process. Since then, Grace O' Sullivan has been a role model for us. The fiery background throughout all six paintings is a continuation of our climate change painting. We wanted to highlight that climate change is still a major issue. This painting is dedicated to the Graces of the world who are fighting to preserve our planet. Grace represents resilience and courage. Thank you Grace, we all love you.

George was the name of Richie’s father. This painting pays homage to his father and the support he received from him. George encouraged him to go to art college. It was also inspired by George from the influential collaborative art duo Gilbert and George who were some of the pioneers of collaborative painting. They paved the way for other duos including ourselves and we wanted to honor that in this series. George represents encouragement and growth, and hopefully you all have a George in your lives too. Thank you George, we all love you.

Chinadu is a young Irish man. Born in Waterford to Nigerian parents. The name is of Igbo origin and means “God advises”.
By Dave Curran and Richie Murphy
“We all love you” is the title of our six painting Covid series. The name comes from a piece of 70’s graffiti on the Dunmore road. Those words are completely timeless and ring especially true during the pandemic. We wanted to remind everyone that even amidst isolation in the pandemic you are not alone and you are still loved.
The idea of only having one character per painting was a choice we made because of quarantine. The series marks a significant point in history and pays homage to everyone who diligently undertook such a difficult task of self isolating. This series is a thank you to everyone who did their part - hospital staff, supermarkets workers, creators, teachers, parents, families and friends. We all love you.
