I came across this wonderful poetic tribute to Mrs Teresa O’Holloran of Kennedy Villa, Foxford (National School Teacher) which was penned in her honour, from one of her pupils, Johnny McDonagh, a sixth class pupil at Attymass National School on the occasion of her retirement after 46 years of a dedicated and distinguished career. The poem conveys how endearing an impression that Mrs O’Halloran made on her pupils and the love they reciprocated…..(tap to read the poem). Date: 1996.
