The ladies in the photograph shared last week have been identified as Jane & Maureen Kennedy in the centre.
Jane on the left & Maureen on the right.
Bridie Sheridan & her sister (later Mrs. Dalton) are the other two ladies. We think the photo was taken around the 1920’s.

Take a look at this fab picture that we received of Owen Sheridans shop in Aughrim.
For those of us that don’t remember, this shop was across from Lawless Hotel, to the left beside Bridge House.
Does anybody recognise the ladies in the photo or give a guess at what year it might be?

This week we bring you another fantastic photo kindly donated by a society member.

Can you tell the location?
If you guessed Foxes / Johnny Burkes of Tinnakilly you’d be spot on!
Now, can you guess who the ‘young ones’ are?
We do have the names as they were noted on the back. Neighbours to the Fox house.
But we’d love to hear your guesses before we fill you in.
