2026年3月18日，活動於香港大學梁銶琚樓15樓高級教職員會所Café 1951圓滿舉行。🍽️

我們非常榮幸邀請到合和實業有限公司工程總監——梁國基博士工程師蒞臨分享💡
梁博士擁有超過25年豐富經驗，足跡遍及英國、肯尼亞、新加坡、香港、中國內地及曼谷等地，曾參與廣深高速公路、港珠澳大橋及合和酒店等地標項目。🏗️

他亦曾任香港工程師學會理事、土木分部主席，並致力教育服務，現為順德聯誼總會胡兆熾中學副校監。📚

當晚他的分享讓大家深入了解香港工程及商業發展，既啟發人心，亦獲益良多！🙌

🎉 27th Hornell Guest Night ✨

We are delighted to share the wonderful moments from the 27th Hornell Guest Night, held on March 18, 2026, at Café 1951 in the Senior Common Room on the 15th floor of the KK Leung Building at HKU. 🍽️

We are delighted to welcome Ir Dr Leo Kwok Kee Leung, Chief Officer (Engineering) at Hopewell Holdings Limited, to our event. 💡
With more than 25 years of distinguished experience in planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance, project financing, and engineering management, Dr Leung has contributed to major projects across England, Kenya, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Bangkok. 🏗️

He has played a pivotal role in landmark infrastructure projects such as the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Superhighway, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and the Hopewell Hotel on Kennedy Road, Wanchai.

Renowned within the engineering community, he has served as Council Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Chairman of its Civil Division, and Chairman of the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation, Hong Kong Branch. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr Leung is also dedicated to education, serving as Pro-Chancellor of Shun Tak Fraternal Association Seaward Woo College. 📚

Our hallmates benefited greatly from his reflections on Hong Kong’s engineering and business developments, which were both inspiring and enlightening. 🙌

Thank you to all mentors and mentees for your enthusiastic participation! Our Mentorship Program Gathering held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Function Room, Senior Common Room, 14/F, K.K. Leung Building, HKU, was a great success! 🏢

It was a vibrant afternoon! Thank you for taking time out of your busy weekend to join us mid-semester. With wine and canapés served, everyone enjoyed great conversations and a relaxing time together. 😋🥂

We had a wonderful time at the Hornell Hall Career Workshop focusing on the business sector, held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in the Hornell Hall Common Room! This workshop aimed to deepen hallmates’ understanding of the business job market and enhance essential job-seeking skills, including writing cover letters, preparing resumes, and interviewing techniques 📌.

We are truly grateful to alumnus Mr. Samuel Wan for taking the time to join us and generously sharing his valuable experiences and insights from the business world. 2026年1月13日，我哋喺歷史悠久嘅香港木球會順利舉辦咗「康寧堂運動同樂日」！當日大家體驗咗多種運動，包括保齡球、板球、草地滾球、高爾夫球同英式桌球等，場面熱鬧又愉快🏏⛳🎱。

On January 13, 2026, we had a wonderful time at the Hornell Hall Sports Fun Day, held at the historic Hong Kong Cricket Club! Everyone enjoyed trying out a range of sports, including bowling, cricket, lawn bowling, golf, and snooker — what a lively and fun-filled day🏏⛳🎱.

第二十六屆「康寧高朋之夜」於2026年1月14日香港大學梁銶琚樓15樓高級教職員會所的 Café 1951 順利舉行 🎊。是次聚會採用小組圓桌晚宴形式，為康寧堂的堂友及嘉賓營造一個舒適自在的交流環境，讓大家暢所欲言，互相聯誼 🥂。

我們非常榮幸邀請到李浩芬先生擔任本次聚會的舍監嘉賓。李浩芬大仙是香港大學社會科學學院的傑出校友，投身中學教育工作逾三十載，事業成就斐然 ✨。他對香港教育界貢獻良多，曾擔任課程發展議會委員，以及香港考試及評核局通識教育委員會成員，並出任「綜合人文科」科目委員會主席 🏫。作為我們康寧堂的優秀校友，李大仙於大學時期亦積極參與舍堂事務，曾任體育秘書，並後來出任本堂主席。堂友們從李大仙對香港教育制度的深刻見解，以及他對過往舍堂生活的真摯回顧中獲益良多，分享內容也讓大家深受啟發 💡。

The 26th Hornell Guest Night was successfully held on January 14, 2026, at Café 1951 in the Senior Common Room on the 15th floor of the KK Leung Building at the University of Hong Kong 🎊. Providing a comfortable and relaxed environment for Hornell Hall members and guests to engage in open conversations and networking 🥂.

We were honored to invite Mr. Lee Ho Fan as the Warden’s guest for this gathering. Mr. Lee is a distinguished alumnus of the Faculty of Social Science at the University of Hong Kong, with over thirty years of experience in secondary education, achieving remarkable accomplishments ✨. He served as a committee member of the Curriculum Development Council, a member of the Liberal Studies Committee of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, and as the Chair of the Integrated Humanities Subject Committee 🏫. As an outstanding alumnus of Hornell Hall, Mr. Lee actively participated in hall affairs during his university years, serving as the Sports Secretary and later as the Chairman of Hornell Hall. Hallmates greatly benefited from Mr. Lee’s profound insights into Hong Kong’s education system and his sincere recounting of past hall life, which inspired everyone 💡.

港大康寧堂跑步隊派出大仙及堂友出戰渣打香港馬拉松2026 十公里賽事。所有人均能順利完成賽事。希望藉此機會以鼓勵更多大仙及堂友參與下屆渣馬賽事。

The Hornell Hall Running Team from HKU sent alumni and hall mates to compete in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2026 10K event. Everyone successfully completed the race. We hope to use this opportunity to encourage more alumni and hall mates to participate in the next marathon!
