🤔 甚麼是時間 What is time？

時間概念在不同的文化中有不一樣的面貌。人們對時間的理解與思考，往往與其對宇宙的設想相關，而這種關聯也常反映在藝術的視覺表達中。
Time concepts take on different forms across various cultures. Reflections on time were never abstract alone, but tied to visions of the universe—and these ideas found visual expression in the arts.

「飛光飛光——中國藝術裡的時間意象」展覽由嶺南大學數碼藝術及創意產業系策劃，並獲得致力推動中西文化交流的「少雪齋」的支持，及慷慨惠借珍貴珍貴文物及當代藝術品共二十四件。展覽將以元末（1271—1368）至近現代的水墨畫、瓷器、漆器及玉器為切入點，展示四季、山水、仙境和太空題材，探討中國文化對時間的概念，以及時間在具象化後如何成為情感的載體。
The exhibition Fleeting, Fleeting Light—Imagery of Time in Chinese Art is curated by the Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries at Lingnan University, and generously supported by loans of twenty-four precious antiquities and contemporary works from Chamber of Young Snow. The exhibition begins with ink paintings, porcelain, lacquer, and jade from the late Yuan (1271–1368) to the modern era, unfolding imagery of the seasons, landscapes, immortal realms, and the space. Through them, we glimpse how the Chinese conception of time was shaped, and how, when embodied in art, time became a vessel for feeling.

This exhibition features over 30 selected porcelain and lacquerware pieces spanning from the Tang to Qing dynasties. Taking you on a journey through this exhibition, we hope to show you how lacquer and porcelain objects were made and used in the past, explore the links between life in the past and present, and inspire you to think more deeply about the everyday normal that we take for granted.

: Special Exhibition on the Exhortations to Promote Good Deeds by Empress Renxiao of the Great Ming

Discover the rare 1405 imperial edition of the Ming Dynasty and understand its crucial role in Ming moral education. This is the first public display of this rare carved edition, offering visitors deep insights into how the Ming imperial court used the publication of ethical texts to consolidate political legitimacy and promote social stability.

當天限定的公眾導賞團將帶領訪客探索唐代（七世紀）至清代（二十世紀初）的漆器與瓷器的材質特色、製作工藝、生產模式及其交錯發展，和大家一起了解多一點生活文化的形成與變遷。
Public guided tours on that special day will lead visitors to discover the materials, craftsmanship, production models, and intertwined development of lacquerware and porcelain from the Tang dynasty (7th century) to the Qing dynasty (early 20th century), offering a journey through the development and transformation of everyday culture.

大明穿越時空的精彩故事即將展開！本系列活動將正式發佈以「古刻薪傳」跨學科研究項目為基礎、並配合目前特別展覽而創作的教育延伸成果——繪本《大明穿越時空記》。⏳📖🌌💫

《大明穿越時空記》| Dai Ming: Keeper of Time and Legacy 📖⏳

《大明穿越時空記》是「古刻薪傳——超越技術的中國書籍」跨學科研究項目的延伸教育項目，並配合少雪齋藝術展覽館目前的全新專題展覽《古刻薪傳⸺大明仁孝皇后勸善書特展》於指定活動期間免費派發。

項目特別邀請香港藝術家林建才共同編製繪本《大明穿越時空記》，以中、英、尼泊爾及烏爾都語四種語言版本發行，除開放線上電子書閱覽外，還將在特定活動期間免費派發中文實體繪本，以饗讀者。本繪本以穿越時空的敘事手法，深入淺出地展現中國書籍及刻印技術的歷史演變和多元面貌，藉此培養小朋友對中華文化和中國藝術史的興趣。

“Dai Ming: Keeper of Time and Legacy” serves as an educational extension of the interdisciplinary research initiative ‘Print and Preservation: Chinese Books Beyond Technology’. It is distributed free of charge at special events in conjunction with the current new special exhibition “Print and Preservation: Special Exhibition on the Exhortations to Promote Good Deeds by Empress Renxiao of the Great Ming” at The Chamber of Young Snow Art Exhibition Hall.

The project features illustrations by invited artist Kinchoi Lam. The e-books available online in Chinese, English, Nepali, and Urdu, and the Chinese printed edition will be distributed free of charge at specific events. Through an engaging time-travel narrative, this picture book vividly presents the historical evolution and diverse dimensions of Chinese bookmaking and printing techniques, aiming to spark children’s curiosity about Chinese culture and art history.
