10 Chancery Lane Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery in Hong Kong 10 Chancery Lane Gallery opened its doors in May 2001.

The gallery focuses on both established and emerging artists from around the world. We are committed to giving a breath of fresh air to the Hong Kong art scene by bringing works that can expand horizons, open minds and view the world and life in general through various different eyes, ideas and souls. 10 Chancery Lane Gallery is pleased to present Xiao Lu: Against the Wind, a powerful exhibition dedicated to the life, work, and enduring spirit of pioneering Chinese contemporary artist Xiao Lu.

The exhibition traces Xiao Lu’s remarkable artistic journey, focusing on the history, struggles, and determination that have shaped her practice. Her work has consistently challenged boundaries—between public and private, body and memory, vulnerability and resistance. Through a deeply personal and politically charged body of work, Against the Wind reflects Xiao Lu’s lifelong commitment to confronting social expectations, personal trauma, and the limitations imposed on women’s voices within art and society.

We are proud to present the 15th edition of HKFOREWORD — New Art from Hong Kong.

This year's exhibition features 13 emerging artists working across installation, painting, photography, sculpture, and video. Participating artists are Kelvin Au, Joy Chan, Emily Cheung, Natalie Chu, Jing, Tansy Kan, Janice Leung, Karl Ng, Tanya Shah, Anya Tong, Wong King Yu (Ah Yu), Kitman Yeung, and Zhuo Hui.

In a world dominated by AI, the works trace the rhythms of daily life—condensation on rainy windows, discarded materials, the quiet repetition of hand-sewing—transforming these human experiences into forms that speak to continuity, loss, and renewal, urging us to return to the tactile experience and reimagine purpose.

🇮🇹✨ Congratulations on Huang Rui’s upcoming solo exhibition: The Extraordinary Path!

As a pioneering figure in Chinese contemporary art, Huang Rui will present over 40 works across 18 venues throughout Siena.

Curated by Bérénice Angremy, this exhibition is more than a museum visit—it is an invitation to explore the city’s history, traditions, and neighbourhoods through a new lens. The journey extends from the prestigious Palazzo Chigi-Saracini to museums located within the city’s 17 contrade.

Come walk the streets of Siena and encounter art where you least expect it.
