Elias Tsiofas Gallery is pleased to present ‘NIGHT GARDEN', marking Takis Karababas’ first solo exhibition and his debut with the gallery.

April 24 - May 25, 2026

Takis Karababas’ Night Garden unfolds as an inward landscape shaped through an embodied process of drawing, where charcoal becomes both medium and gesture. Abstract traces emerge as vegetal and bodily forms, suspended between appearance and disappearance, creating a space where memory, desire, and the unconscious take material form. Conceived as a field of passage and contemplation, Night Garden evokes a fragile terrain where withered forms persist like flowering embers—holding the tension between transformation, loss, and renewal.

Takis Karababas (b. 1994, Athens) is a visual artist working primarily in painting and drawing. He completed an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art, London, in 2023, and previously obtained an Integrated Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2018.

We are excited to present ‘UNSACRED TERRAINS’
A group exhibition curated by Eirini Agourzenidou that brings together three graduates:

Georgia Ghaznavi
Sean Powers
Jan Valik

February 20 - April 22, 2026

The artists negotiate meanings of post-human environments through abstract painting. Valik and Powers place us in their post-apocalyptic landscapes, while Ghaznavi immerses us into the microcosmos of non-human forms. The works collectively articulate a post-human condition allowing us to imagine what a –not so fictional– “world without us” would look like.

Elias Tsiofas Gallery is pleased to present ‘INTRUSION’, Anna’s Phalavandisvili’s first solo exhibition with the gallery.
phalavandishvili

November 28 - December 29, 2025

Anna Phalavandishvili’s work turns familiar domestic spaces into scenes of quiet intrusion, positioning the viewer as an unseen witness to private, vulnerable moments. Drawing on 20th-century cinema and Sartre’s idea of the Look her figures appear exposed, lacking agency, and objectified. Her images ultimately probe the fragile boundary between intimacy and violation, prompting ethical questions about our role as voyeurs.
