Last weekend the committee went to visit The Snappy Trust. Each committee member has chosen a charity to fundraise for and Seth chose Snappy. Anne spoke to the committee about the fantastic work the charity does and they got to see first hand what an amazing provision Snappy is.

Please help us to spread the word about the YorKAOS art exhibition and encourage as many young people in York aged 5-11 to get involved and enter a piece of art. It really is easy; register the art on our website and the drop it off at one of the Explore libraries.

Calling all young artists to register and submit their art work for the YorKAOS exhibition next month.

There is no theme and it is not a competition - just get creative. This image is by a Year 5 student who called it Mr Tiger.

The website is open for you to register your art work and artwork can be dropped off at six Explore Libraries (Acomb, Clifton, Tang Hall, City Centre, Dringhouses, Haxby & Wigginton) from Saturday.

We can’t wait to see what is submitted this year!
