What a fantastic evening we had at Saint Nic's Gallery on Saturday with Under the Hammer by Bold Drama! It was such a fun, interactive experience, with plenty of laughs, mystery and audience participation. It was wonderful to see so many people getting involved and enjoying themselves from start to finish.

A huge thank you to Brave Bold Drama for bringing such a unique event to Weymouth, and to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant time. We can't wait to welcome you back for more! 🎭🔨

We're absolutely thrilled that Six Go Down to the Seaside has received a Weymouth Civic Society Arts Award.

Curated by Si Jubb and exhibited at Saint Nic’s Gallery in November 2025, the exhibition brought together the work of six outstanding photographers: Peter Dench, Si Jubb Carruthers, Iain McKell, the late Martin Parr, Paul Russell and Finnbarr Webster. Together, they captured the unique character, humour, beauty and everyday life of Weymouth and Portland through 38 remarkable documentary photographs.

The award was presented at the Weymouth Civic Society Annual Awards Evening at Nothe Fort last week.

Huge congratulations to Si Jubb and all the photographers involved, and thank you to Weymouth Civic Society for recognising the value of arts and culture in our community.

On Saturday 25 July, Bold Brave Drama bring Under the Hammer to St Nic's Gallery - an immersive art mystery experience where the audience becomes part of the investigation.

Expect dodgy dealers, suspiciously passionate art experts and questionable motives.
