Dipper 2016 - ‘I am a passionate fisherman, and one of the joys of fishing is being able to completely switch off from the outside world and just enjoy the flora and fauna around the river system. I have often seen the busy Dipper bird, sitting on a rock or diving and swimming under water picking up insects as it goes. It is a bird all fishermen will be familiar with. On one of my fishing trips, I forced myself to put down my rod for an hour or two to observe and photograph the Dipper.
