Tess & Pauline invite you to an evening of sound where you will be taken on an acoustic journey using vibrational sound instruments such as Gongs, Crystal Bowls, Drums, Native American Flute and more.

This will be a seated event on Church Pews so please bring a cushion for a little extra comfort and a blanket incase you feel chilly.

Parking Free after 6pm
Disabled Badges may park close to the church along the wall inside the Castle Grounds. Do not block entrance or turning area.
Plus it will be dark so please watch your footing on the road from main car park, outside gates.

On arrival your name will be asked and ticked off and for you to find a seat. This is for Health & Safety requirements.

Doors closed 7.15pm

Apologies but late arrivals will not be allowed in to prevent disturbance once Sound Session has started.

Photo London’s Master of Photography for 2024 is one of France’s most popular and acclaimed photographers, Valérie Belin.

We are proud to present the exhibition ‘Silent Stories’, where Belin presents three decades of her work, reflecting an iconography that is deliberately silent, through images that — in the words of their creator — ”are neither narrative nor documentary and tell no particular stories, but are designed to be seen as the mirror of fictions without words.”

Showcasing a selection of large-format photographs that span from the late 1990s to today, and featuring her latest series, Lady Stardust (2023) presented for the first time in London, ‘Silent Stories’ sees Belin’s progression from black and white to colour, and from silver to digital, appropriating the technological changes in photography in her search for a new ontology.

Processing Black and White film with help from using a well equipped darkroom, hired from Attila Pasek Photographer - Bournemouth .Great to see the 120 negs from the work I shot when spending a day of film photography with John Railton in West Sussex.
Next step is to try the new led enlarger Attila has built to print multigrade paper.

Really enjoy working in the darkroom today with Attila Pasek Photographer - Bournemouth.In the 'wet area's processing 120 roll film.Interesting to see the results from a 1940's Zeiss Ikon ? Pictures shot with John Railton Spiritual Art in West Sussex.
